In early April, GuruHotel launched an initiative in support of the independent hotel industry and the health sector in Mexico. Is about Save Indie Hotels, a solution for hotels that have had to close their doors temporarily, due to the state of health emergency declared by the Mexican Government.
The plan is to continue offering attractive stays to tourists who wish to travel once the crisis ends. Through the sale of gift cards that can be purchased online within the platform, travelers will be able to choose one exclusive offer of 2 nights for 2 people, to enjoy within the next 12 months in one of the hotels that have decided to be part of this campaign.
The response has been very good so far! There are already 45 Mexican hotels that have joined the initiative and every day we receive an average of 10 requests that we are processing. For now, people interested in supporting this campaign and benefiting at the same time, will be able to browse virtually each hotel, until they find the one of their choice. Once you have purchased your gift card, you will only have to choose the hotel where you want to spend your future vacation in a period of no more than 30 days and, subsequently, redeem your card on the date that suits them best, within the indicated period.
The variety of destinations in the interior of Mexico includes places like Palenque, Holbox, Campeche, Cozumel, Tulum, Valladolid, Ensenada, Puerto Escondido, among others, there are even hotels from Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Costa Rica!
